On March 19, the RA NA Council sitting presided over by the RA NA President Ara Babloyan was held.

The draft decision of convening the April 9, 2018 special sitting dedicated to the assuming of the post of the President of the Republic in Karen Demirchyan Sport and Concert Complex and establishing the order of holding the sitting was debated and approved. The April 9 special sitting of the National Assembly dedicated to the assuming of the post of the President of the Republic will be convened in Karen Demirchyan Sport and Concert Complex at 12:00.

The Council approved the draft laws on Making Addenda to the agenda of the third session of the NA sixth convocation and the agenda of the regular sittings being convened on March 20 of the third session of the sixth convocation. The sequence and the duration of the debate of the agenda items of the regular sittings were established.

9 items were included in the draft law on Making Addenda in the agenda of the third session of the sixth convocation of the National Assembly, 25 items were included in the draft law of the regular sittings’ agenda to be convened on March 20.

By the decision of the Council addenda were also made on Approving the Members of the Friendship Groups of the National Assembly, an amendment was made in the decisions on Approving the Members of the NA Delegations in the International Parliamentary Organizations.
